Day 2 | Welcome to Japan

After the long transoceanic flight, the group officially arrives in Japan, landing at Narita International Airport (NRT). Your vehicle and tour guide meet the group, welcoming you to the Land of the Rising Sun and the start of your journey through captivating Tokyo. Check in to the hotel and enjoy free time to rest.

Day 3 | Tokyo: Timeless Charm Amid a Modern Megacity

After breakfast, set out to explore the capital, Tokyo. Awaken your senses at Tsukiji Fish Market, the culinary heart of the city, where you can enjoy fresh sashimi amid the bustling stalls. Visit the ancient and revered Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, where you may optionally rent a kimono for photos.
Stroll across the Nijubashi Bridge for a view of the stately Tokyo Imperial Palace, then find quiet reflection at Meiji Jingu Shrine, surrounded by forest in the middle of the city. As night falls, experience the energy of the famous Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world.

Day 4 | Tokyo – Mount Fuji: Two Magnificent Extremes

After breakfast, depart Tokyo for the area surrounding Mount Fuji, Japan’s iconic symbol. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi and visit historic Hakone Shrine, known for its red torii gate rising from the water. Continue to serene Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, for stunning reflections of the mountain.
Take part in a traditional matcha tea ceremony workshop at Kawaguchiko Shikido. Weather permitting, visit the steaming Owakudani volcanic valley and try the local black egg specialty, said to add years to your life. In the evening, relax with a traditional Japanese onsen hot spring experience.

Day 5 | Mount Fuji – Nagoya: A Masterpiece of Nature

After breakfast, continue admiring the majestic scenery of the sacred mountain region before heading to Nagoya. Enjoy a sachet-making workshop to craft your own traditional scented charm.
Weather permitting, ascend to the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station at 2,300 meters for a close-up view of Mount Fuji. Visit the picturesque village of Oshino Hakkai, with its traditional thatched-roof houses reflected in crystal-clear ponds, and stroll along Lake Yamanaka, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes.

Day 6 | Timeless Kyoto

After breakfast, check out and travel to the ancient capital of Kyoto, home to Japan’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Marvel at thousands of vermillion torii gates forming a tunnel up the mountain at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Wander the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and visit the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, perched on a hillside overlooking the city.
Explore the historic streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka lined with traditional machiya houses and craft shops, then stroll the lantern-lit alleys of the Gion district in the evening, where you might catch a glimpse of a geisha or maiko.

Day 7 | Nara – Osaka: Dreamy Ancient Capital, Vibrant Metropolis

After breakfast, depart for Nara, the thousand-year-old ancient capital known for its tranquil charm, before continuing on to the vibrant modern city of Osaka. Visit Todai-ji Temple, home to one of the world’s largest wooden buildings and a colossal bronze Buddha statue, and stroll through Nara Deer Park to see the free-roaming sacred deer. Visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine, famous for its thousands of stone and bronze lanterns.

Day 8 | Discover Osaka: Bright Lights and Culinary Delights

Day 9 | Farewell Japan – Welcome to Busan, Korea

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and free time for shopping before check-out. Transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) for your flight to Korea, bidding farewell to Japan as the journey continues in the Land of Kimchi.
Upon arrival, visit colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, often called the “Santorini of Korea,” ride the scenic Haeundae Blue Line coastal train for sweeping ocean views, and see Yeongjigyo Bridge, one of Korea’s largest wooden bridges.

Day 10 | Ancient Gyeongju – Coastal Ulsan

After breakfast, check out and continue exploring Gyeongju and Ulsan. Visit Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled on Mount Toham, known for its elegant curved rooflines.
Stroll Daewangam Park along the coast to see the striking Ulgi suspension bridge stretching over the sea, and visit Taehwagang National Garden, a scenic riverside park.

Day 11 | Ulsan – Seoul – Nami Island

After breakfast, check out and head to the KTX train station for the ride back to Seoul, resting onboard along the way. Day 12 | Seoul – Palaces

After breakfast, check out and set off for a day of sightseeing and shopping. Visit Yeouido Park, a peaceful green space in the heart of the city, and browse a shop featuring red pine essential oils and Korean cosmetics.
Explore Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of Seoul’s royal palaces dating back to 1395, with the option to rent a hanbok for photos. Drive past Cheongwadae (the Blue House), the former presidential residence, and visit the National Folk Museum of Korea to learn about the country’s cultural heritage.

Day 13 | Seoul City Tour

Finish the day exploring Myeongdong Market, one of Korea’s busiest shopping and street food districts.
